Music group Mirage the band, who have previously given beautiful singles such as Panchi, Pyar Hua and Ker Daalo Pakistan amongst many others, has recently released a colourful funky song, Befiker, for the youth of Pakistan. The song marks the sixth release from their second album Doosri Dastak.

Featuring Rehan Nazim on vocals, Befiker has been written, composed and shot keeping in mind a simple rule: Live and let live. The tune urges the young generation to follow their heart, be carefree, avoid passing judgments and savour today for what it is. The music video circles around the same theme with colourful cinematography to project the young spirits.

The video has been shot at two different locations: the vivacious Kiran Gali [Baghdadi Mohallah] in Lyaari and the beautiful fishing community at the Mubarak Village beach located on the shore of Arabian Sea. “For the video, we collaborated with the Kiran Foundation. Kiran Gali had all these multi-coloured buildings so we decided to shoot it over there. The opening shot is a one take which was pretty difficult to execute given the circumstances at that time,” Rehan Nazim and Saad Hayat said in a press statement.

With composition and vocals by Saad Hayat, who also plays the keyboard, Befikre is written by Rehan Nazim. The song features Mohsin Raza Shah on guitars, Bradley D’Souza on bass and guitars, and Ajay Harri on drums.
