After her Coke Studio debut, singer Momina Mustehsan became quite a sensation because of her melodic voice and girl next door charm. Her rendition of the Nusrat Fateh Ali’s iconic Afreen Afreen — also featuring music maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan — won her many accolades and added to her growing popularity.

She’s now come out with a new song titled Aaya Na Tu which she has sung along with Indian singer Arjun Kanungo and to be honest, we aren’t sure how we feel about it. It actually sounds like a modified version of the famous Charlie Puth track We Don’t Talk Anymore featuring Selena Gomez. The video shows a breakup between the two singers and how they are both hoping to hear from each other despite having changed paths. The song is hummable and catchy yet lacks the impact you’re expecting from a breakup song.

As pointed out earlier, the tune isn’t original and it appears a few songs have been clubbed together to make Aaya Na Tu. Momina’s voice has the power of making an impact if she goes easy on her Americanised accent while singing Urdu songs.
