The year is off to a promising start with major developments in the music industry and to jump on the bandwagon, Mountain Dew is presenting one-of-a-kind art and music festival for the people of Islamabad. Hosting an exciting event on Saturday, February 9, which will be filled with fun, entertainment and more, Solis Music & Arts Festival should certainly be on top of your ‘must attend events of 2019’ list.

Electronic Dance Music [EDM] has gained mass popularity in Pakistan over the past few years and the local music scene, especially the past season of Coke Studio incorporated the genre to help create a connection with the youth of the nation. Connecting local talent with internationally renowned DJs like Danny Availa, Joe Ghost and Kris Kaiden, the one-night music fiesta will certainly be an experience you will never forget.

Danny Availa — who has performed at various international platforms including Tomorrowland, Coachella and Ultra Music Festival to name a few — will be performing in Islamabad for the very first time. Popular Canadian DJ Joe Ghost — who started his career at 15 along with electronic music sensation Kris Kaiden will be performing live. Other performers include Turhan James & Maleo and FDVM.

This grand music festival seems to be Pakistan’s own spin on Tomorrowland as people from all over the country are flying in to attend the show and immerse themselves in the dubstep music. Not only this, Solis Arts & Music Festival will break the notion that residents of Islamabad sleep early and perhaps, for some time, we can let the jokes rest.
