Pakistani designers are changing the fashion scene as they continue to receive extraordinary appreciation for their craft. Earlier, Sania Maskatiya showcased her Spring/Summer collection at the New York Fashion Week [NYFW] and now, another established designer Syeda Amera is showcasing at the Paris Fashion Week 2019 on March 4.

The celebrated fashion week — which takes place at the Intercontinental Le Grand, Paris — is the crux of Parisian culture and lifestyle. Amera is the only couturier from Pakistan invited to showcase her extraordinary collection along with talented designers from USA, France, New Zealand, Indonesia and India.

The designer, who has previously showcased her designs in New York, Sydney, Hong Kong, Spain, London and Paris, has garnered positive feedback for mixing architecture, art, culture and fashion in her couture. Mixing eastern values with western trends, the designer’s latest Bridal/Formal Collection ’19 has made her work stand out.

Amera kickstarted her fashion career in 2008 and has continually experimented with different hues and cuts to ensure her ensembles are chic and trendy. She also plans to venture into footwear and fashion accessories in the future.
