The drama presented a visual treat for the audience while shedding light on the social evil of black magic and how adversely it can disrupt day-to-day lives. The thought-provoking narrative was about a family, who, after getting deeply affected by sorcery undergoes many trials and tribulations and at various points, different family members were possessed by supernatural entities. The subject struck the right chords with the audience and they soon became hooked to the play as the phenomenon is prevalent in the South Asian region.

The lead cast of Bandish included Marina Khan as Madiha, Sajid Hasan as Junaid, Hira Mani, Hoorain and Zubab Rana as the three daughters and Farah Shah as the antagonist. Who will be playing the antagonist in the next play remains subject to the finalization of the script, the source added.

Unlike most paranormal TV shows in Pakistan, this provided not only a promising script but brilliant acting and a top-notch production with jump scare moments, without overdramatizing to create an impact on the audience.
