The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has started off his six-day visit to India and Pakistan aimed to promote business and cultural ties between the two countries and the United Kingdom. During the first leg of his tour, Sadiq has met with not only India’s prominent business leaders but also taken out the time to meet some of Bollywood’s biggest stars.
Karan Johar and Akash Ambani held a party in honour of the mayor at Ambani’s residence in Mumbai. From Alia Bhatt to Shah Rukh Khan, some of Bollywood’s bigwigs were in attendance so naturally it made for a good photo opportunity!
Ofcourse, the mayor had to meet Bollywood royalty, Amitabh Bachchan.
…And King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor, Ranbir Kapoor met the mayor when he visited QPR South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenge, which is co-owned by Ranbir.
Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Jacqueline Fernandaz struck a pose at the reception dinner too.
Katrina donned a flora saree while Alia wore a sequinned dress.

“An honour to meet the Little Master himself… Great to discuss my plans to make London the sporting capital of the world,” tweeted Sadiq while sharing a photo of him and renowned Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar.
Sadiq is visiting Mumbai, Delhi and Amritsar in India before heading to Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi in Pakistan during his six-day tour.
We wonder who’s in line to meet the mayor during his trip to Pakistan…
