The indie Pakistani film, Pinky Memsaab, which hit the cinemas last year in December has now been released on Netflix. A UAE-based venture, the film portrays the lives of a gullible maid, Pinky (Hajra Yamin); a beautiful socialite, Mehr (Kiran Malik); an ambitious investment banker, Hassan (Adnan Jaffar); and a happy-go-lucky chauffeur, Santosh (Sunny Hinduja). It further divulges into how their stories are entwined in Dubai.

Although the film was appreciated by many, the praise didn’t translate into box-office numbers. However, Pinky Memsaab would be able to reach a wider audience, now that the film is available on the streaming platform.

Pinky Memsaab’s lead actress Hajra Yamin has also been nominated in the ‘Best Actress’ category this year in the Lux Style Awards.
