News of the Day: The upcoming PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week (PSFW), scheduled to take place in Lahore this month between April 13 and 16 has been reduced to 3 days because of venue unavailability. PSFW, which was originally supposed to take place on March 2-5, was postponed because of the slate of terrorist attacks all over the country around that time.

The new dates for April are now between April 13 and 15.

While this means that the lineup will have to be shuffled and accommodated over three days, it also means that there will some time for the industry to exhale and refresh before the Lux Style Awards, scheduled to take place in Karachi on April 19.

While the confirmed PSFW lineup has not yet been disclosed, the country’s biggest and most exciting designers are expected to show. The event has also experienced several changes, including Show Director as Sadia Siddiqui of Mustang Productions will be flying in to take over from Hassan Sheheryar Yasin this year. The entire designer format has changed, with shows happening individually and giving the media the choice of selecting designers of their interest. One also hears of a Sunsilk hair show, conceptualised by Nabila.
