Renowned musician Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has become the first Pakistani singer to hit 5 million subscribers on YouTube. The singer celebrated the achievement by expressing gratitude to his fans and followers on social media.

“Thank you to all my fans for making 5 million subscribers possible. I want to celebrate this moment with you all. Thank you, everyone for all the love and support,” wrote the celebrated star.

 

 

A total of 207 videos have been uploaded on his YouTube channel. He also dedicated the victory to Salman Ahmed.

His recent release, Gham-e-Ashiqui which was produced by Salman Ahmed, crossed 3 million views. Its classic poetry is by legendary poetess, Parveen Shakir.

“It is the painful longing of lover whose heart is broken, the loneliness and disarray, the journey of lover through the pain and agony. He credits the strong feelings of love to pull him through the difficult times, sleepless nights and endless pain,” as described in the official description of the song.
