‘What’s life without a few hiccups?’ the trailer for Rani Mukerji’s upcoming film Hichki asks, and that’s what we’re wondering too!

Marking the actress’ post-shaadi comeback into Bollywood, the story narrates the life of Naina Mathur – a woman suffering from Tourette’s Syndrome – whose lifelong dream is to be a teacher. However, owing to her condition and the way the students and educationists look at her, she finds herself in a roller coaster of emotions.

A serpentine look into a life filled with obstacles and the mighty human willpower to get past problems, Hichki looks and feels like a pure film at heart and that’s probably what will make it a delight to watch.

Starring Rani Mukerji, the film has been directed by Siddharth P Malhotra under the banner of Yash Raj Films and is scheduled to release on February 23rd.
