Model turned actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak is making sure she leaves no stones unturned when it comes to exploring her professional options. After proving herself in the entertainment industry, she is now all set to be an entrepreneur.

Saheefa along with her husband, Khawaja Khizer Hussain has launched her very own fashion label — Evervanna — that focuses on minimal, basic everyday wear.

Evervanna is an extension of her experience in Pakistani fashion industry and an expression to contribute to the field further.

“The intention was to use my personal style and preferences to create a line of clothing with unique designs,” she revealed in a conversation with Something Haute.

The couple chooses to model for their collection themselves instead of hiring someone else. The first look of Evervanna features Saheefa and her husband who is not a professional model.

“Since Khwaja Sahab is not an actor or a model, people can relate to him more,” she shared the reason behind this decision.

In fact, she emphasized that she understood the demands of the common man more clearly while making clothes that fit her husband.

“It was a pretty challenging task. Fittings wouldn’t sit on him as easily as they would on a professional model,” she acknowledged, adding that through this experience she understood the problems a common man might face when purchasing their clothes.

“We would never make something that we won’t wear ourselves,” she said adding that this is the reason she and her husband decided to model themselves. Saheefa also stated that she aims to never compromise on the quality.

The first series presents a new trend for streetwear in Pakistan. “This collection reflects the imagination, creativity and style of my favored international designers,” she revealed.

Her main concern was the fabric that was used in the production of this collection. “I choose Pakistani khaddar, made locally from a village my husband is associated with,” she shared adding that her line of apparel focuses on the eastern as well as a western market.

“Being able to launch Evervanna is a proud moment in this journey, and I’m thrilled to share it with everyone. I hope you take to the label and wear it, own it and find yourself in my clothes!!” she said thanking her fans and followers for always showing love, support, and encouragement.

The brand will not only focus on clothing but also accessories, shoes, bags, and jewellery.

Evervanna will soon be available to order online, with shipping available worldwide.
