The 2016 blockbuster movie Sultan featured a fresh pair of Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma for the first time. The duo shared a great rapport and their on-screen romance was loved by the audiences. If reports are to be believed, the two are reuniting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production.

According to a report in Times Now, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has locked a script and is keen on taking Anushka on board. Though the details of the untitled project have been kept strictly under wraps, Salman Khan had confirmed earlier this year that he was going to team up with Bhansali 19 years after the release of megahit film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Rumours have it that it was Salman Khan who suggested Anushka’s name to Bhansali. At this point, it is not clear whether Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be in the director’s chair for this film.

A report in Times of India stated that the project will go on floor in mid-2019 and is aiming for Eid 2020 release. Unlike the director’s previous two films Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, this one will reportedly be a family drama.

Interestingly, Anushka Sharma has no films in her kitty post Zero so perhaps she is saving her dates for this project.
