It’s funny how all of us gravitate towards black or warm tones during winter. Despite black being the most favoured color throughout the year, the appeal doesn’t fade. However, bright colors are equally important in our wardrobe as the colors we surround ourselves with affect us much more than we think. So one way to get rid of your gloomy mood is to opt for vivid shades. Sana Safinaz has realized this potential of a bright palette and released the catalogue of its Mahay Winter 2019 collection, comprising vibrant 2-piece and 3-piece looks to cheer you up this winter.

Featuring 10 designs in 20 brilliant color ways, here’s what we love from the collection:

With a neutral base

If you’re not someone who is too keen to don popping hues, opt for the pieces which have a neutral base of either black or white. The colors help in muting the bright shades and toning it according to your sensibility. For instance, a magenta, turquoise and yellow digital print will instantly mellow down with white cotton pants. Similarly a classic black, cream and gold shirt looks great with a hint of hot pink.

Why stick to one color?

For the daring ones, there is so much room to play. We have vivid yellow, neon colors like orange, hot pink, red, peach and turquoise. Some designs are rendered in three different shades for shirt, dupatta and trouser. Yellow is a perfect color to give you an extra bit of zest, whereas Indigo, berry, pink, black and mustard create an eye-catching mix on a shirt featuring digitally printed paisleys and Kashmiri motifs.

Outfits like artworks

Technicolor is another option to add some playfulness to your outfits. With embroideries or patterns in multiple shades, these pieces look like artworks. This jewel toned ensemble with Turkish and Moroccan floral imagery has a digital print in sage, peach, pink and cream.
