Actor and morning show host Sanam Jung is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the Covid-19 pandemic. Sanam and her 4-year-old daughter, Alaya have unfortunately contracted the coronavirus and have quarantined themselves.
The actor took to Instagram and posted a story to inform her fans and followers:
“I would like to inform all my well wishers that I have tested positive for Covid-19. May daughter and I have been in complete isolation and thankfully, Alhumdulillah, have no severe symptoms,” she wrote.
The actor further requested everyone to take the disease seriously and be cautious outdoors.
“I would request all of you to take this pandemic seriously. Covid is real, please take necessary precautions. Wear a mask and avoid public spaces. Stay indoors and be safe,” she added.
She concluded her post with a request for prayers. “Remember me and my daughter in your prayers.”
Yesterday, Mahira Khan also shared that she has tested positive for Covid-19 and it is rough. Hopefully, all of the stars who have contracted coronavirus recover soon!
