It’s that time of the year when we are about to wrap up one season and step into another; summer is about to end and autumn is at our doorsteps, with chilly airs blowing in the midnight. With the change in temperatures, alterations in our wardrobe are inevitable and Sana Safinaz makes it easier to prepare for the seasonal change with its Pre-Fall Unstitched 2019 collection.

Bid farewell to airy and breathable fabrics and embrace experimental and thicker garments. The color palette is fluid this time and there are two ranges — embroidered and woven fabrics — to anticipate warm clothes as winter is around the corner. It’s a range of 20 unstitched three-piece suits, featuring eight individual designs in two colorways in the woven category and six printed and embroidered designs. Each suits comes with a silk-blend dupatta.

Here’s a sneak preview of what to expect from the pre-fall collection:

A classic black and white woven shirt goes a long way. With printed borders, the monochrome outfit looks inspired from Mughal gardens. The embroidery mixes up textures and patterns. Damask and cord inspired motifs adorn the black, cream and ochre dupatta, a color scheme that is replicated in the pants.

Yellow may seem to be a color for the spring/summer season, but why not incorporate the hue in winter as well. This Mango yellow shirt with floral motifs and dull gold resham embroidery of traditional botis is pretty for day wear. We can also spot chevron print and peacocks in the mix.

We also have a play of patterns and prints on woven fabric. In this off-white and Prussian blue outfit, stripes form the background of magenta embroidered Chinese birds and flora. The shirt is styled as a poncho here and that’s a perfect fit for the fabric. Go for the same linear, contemporary and chic vibe with this piece.

Another number that we love fuses stripes, polka dots and dip dye effect in one dress. With monochromatic thread work and embroidered borders, this one comes with a printed silver chiffon dupatta.
