Shamoon Abbasi’s directorial venture Durj finally has a confirmed release date for Pakistan and it coincides perfectly with its dark theme; the movie will be released on the 18th of October, when the Halloween mood starts to set in.

Release dates for Durj’s international release had been confirmed earlier, however Shamoon made the Pakistani release date public on his social media accounts recently.

“For the first time in Pakistan, experience a thriller inspired on true events in the month of Halloween,” said Shamoon in one of the promotional posts. The film follows the story of a psychotic criminal who partakes in cannibalism, and how his mind operates in a world full of chaos around him. Chillingly, it is based on true events.

Durj is all set to release in selected countries including US, UK, Canada, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar by October 11, 2019.

The movie features Maira Khan, Sherry Shah and Nauman Javaid in important roles alongside Shamoon Abbasi.
