Pakistani musician and activist, Shehzad Roy surely knows his responsibility and the power of his craft. Once again, the singer uses his music to boldly raise his voice and address a matter that needs serious attention.

After a long break, the Laga Reh singer has returned with yet another masterpiece titled Kon Kis Ka Aadmi Hai. The song highlights the curiosity to know who is working for whom and making assumptions rather than fact checking and seeking the truth.

“Truth is often distorted! It is important to fact check through credible sources before judging “who is working for whom” and then reach closer to truth,” stated the official description on YouTube.

The singer addressed the importance to not be afraid to raise the voice and do your best to find out facts before indulging in blame game. It’s important to know who is a friend and it is important to know who is a backstabber.

Kon Kis Ka Aadmi Hai has thought-provoking lyrics and a catchy beat; it also mentions Modi and the current farmers’ protest in India. The song also pokes fun at India by reminding them of how Pakistan shot down its plane and served pilot Abhinandan tea and biscuits.

Directed by Faisal Qureshi, the lyrics of the song have been penned by Nadeem Asad. The video also features Shehzad Roy’s son on drums — who looks exactly like him, Australian artist Gabrielle Brinsmead on cello and designer Yousuf Bashir Qureshi on keyboard.
