Style File: 5 haute sari looks this season

Style quotient is at an all time high this summer as a number of big budget movies are about to hit the theaters. With a ton of promotional events to attend, our leading ladies are vying to make a mark with their individual fashion choices, and lo and behold, the timeless sari is emerging as a favorite!

Awaiting the release of her movie Parey Hut Love, Maya Ali is keeping busy with promotions, all the while making stunning style statements like this one. Styled by Rao Ali Khan for OK! Pakistan, the starlet looked gorgeous in a muted mint green sari by Arpita Mehta.

Never one to make conventional statements with her fashion choices, Mahira Khan opted for Zaha’s contemporary take on the drape. Choosing a loosely fitted blouse over a traditional fit, the Superstar manages to tick all the style elements, tying it all together with on-trend animal print and minimal jewelry.

Gearing up for her own production, Heer Maan Ja, in which she’s also playing the lead actress, Hareem Farooq has her hands full this summer! However, she is still turning heads with her gorgeous looks at promotional events. Recently seen in a beautiful emerald green sari by Sania Maskatiya, the actress made sure to stay on trend.

Seems like Amna Ilyas can’t catch a break this summer with her back to back releases; first Baaji and now Ready Steady No. Of course, the model turned actor has to also be on trend while attending a gazillion promotional events for her movies, and that’s exactly what she’s up to! Giving a refreshing twist to the sari, she wore an eclectic saari dress by Sania Maskatiya.

Never one to shy away from tradition, Zara Noor Abbas donned her mother’s sari and managed to look every bit as graceful as her mother. In bright tones of green, blue and pink, the ensemble has a definitive motherly feel to it and if there’s one person who could have pulled it off, it’s Zara!
