Verna promotions have kicked off and as interesting as it is to see Mahira Khan and Haroon Shahid come together to talk about the film, we are equally intrigued by Mahira’s style game, as always! The actress is known for her minimal fuss-free style and even when she takes things up a notch, Mahira carries herself with an ease not many are able to perfect.

This time around, Mahira has majorly opted for ethnic looks and has completely won us over. Sure she has broken the monotony a couple of times by going super casual with a tucked in tee or button down, but otherwise it has been one effortless yet on-point look after the other.

Starting from the trailer launch of the film, where Mahira adorned one of our favourite Maheen Khan pieces from Fashion Pakistan Week Winter/Festinve 2017. This shimmering gharara saari stole our attention on the runway, and who better than Mahira to carry it? Paired with a traditional choker for the ethnic affect.

A simple melon toned embroidered kameez with a smart trouser shalwar has never looked more appealing. Paired with classic khussas, this look is quintessential Mahira!

And again, who knew a soft blue tunic paired with a chiffon dupatta and shalwar could make for a great day outfit?

Notice how the actress has been playing with the basic shalwar kameez and keeping to her comfort zone, i.e, minimalist fashion. The addition of a printed dupatta really completes this casual look.

Another purely ethnic look, the ajrak print anarkali is complete with a simple churidaar, a coined neck piece and silver kolapurris

Menahel and Mehreen was a popular choice (the melon kurta and sky blue tunic outfits were also by the same brand) for the star, and it definitely was a good one! This handcrafted monochrome saari is a more formal look than the rest, yet Mahira keeps her hair and makeup simple to be able carry it off for a day out.

This quintessentially traditional Zara Shahjahan number has the designer’s signature elephant motifs, and the powder blue colour looks perfect on the style queen.

A funky spin on a traditional saari, this sleek black number by Elan might just be our favourite outfit yet!

Mahira is always showing us that less is more, and this simple cutwork kurta and azaar is perfectly event-appropriate.

Though she is not one to usually opt for busy prints, we can safely say there isn’t anything that Mahira can’t carry!
