Faraz Manan celebrates with friends

He’s the newly crowned king of bridal couture and with his Crescent affiliation and friendship with Kareena Kapoor Khan – that has evolved over several years of lawn campaigns – he’s also lawn royalty. And Faraz Manan got a royal nod for this when he picked up two Lux Style Awards for Best Designer, Bridal and Best Designer, Lawn this year. Jet-setting between London, Dubai and Lahore, the quiet and unassuming designer was in Lahore this weekend to celebrate his win with friends. His party welcomed an interesting mix of old school stalwarts and youthful new designers. The Lux Style Awards celebrate their tenth anniversary amidst national crises and raised eyebrows. Can the annual event survive this inhospitable climate?
