After Karan Johar announced his much-awaited ensemble film, Takht, the actors starring in the epic have now finally started speaking out about working with each other. One such example is Kareena Kapoor, who would be working for the first time ever with present-day’s biggest superstar, Ranveer Singh.

With major hits each year, the actor has become the top contender for superstardom and of course, Kareena couldn’t help but feel it’s her ‘honour’ to work with the Padmavat actor.

“It is great that finally after so many years I will be sharing screen space with him. It was long due collaboration,” Kareena told Indian media. “He is just a phenomenal actor. It will be an honour to share screen space with him. I am very happy.”

The actress, who reunites with Karan Johar for a Dharma Productions film after a long time also talked about her excitement on working with her ‘bestie’.

“I have done so many movies with Dharma in the past, but after a long time, Karan is directing me,” she said.  “It feels great. Working with Karan is always a pleasure.”

Takht is slated for a 2020 release and also stars Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Jahnvi Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
