Imagine your favorite star in the world offers to fund your college tuition. Seems right out of a fantasy, doesn’t it? That’s exactly what happened for a Pakistani immigrant student in Canada, who was helped by her idol Taylor Swift who contributed $6,386 towards her education at the University of Waterloo.

Ayesha Khurram, studying accounting and financial management at the University of Waterloo, had posted about struggling to pay her tuition fees online, when some friends suggested her to drop her PayPal account so people who are willing could help her out. ”I thought, that’s not a bad idea, I should totally do that. And then I did. And next thing I know, I literally have no more problems anymore,” Ayesha said as per a report in CBC News.

She got an email soon after, notifying her about an online money transfer from the Taylor Nation, LLC, amounting to $6,386. Attached with it was a note from Taylor herself. “Ayesha, get your learn on, girl! I love you! Taylor,” it read.

“It’s more than what I asked for. She is just so generous. I literally cried myself to sleep last night. This is the kind of thing you don’t expect. You don’t even dream about it. In no corner of your brain are you thinking, ‘Taylor Swift is going to send me money and help me out,'” gushed the young student who can now go ahead with her pursuits.

Taylor Swift is quite the benefactor for her fans, as this is not the first time that she has helped a student pay for their education. Back in 2015, she she sent Rebekah Bortniker a sum of $1,989 in an effort to pay off her student loans in the United States.

We wish Ayesha all the best of luck for her future and kudos to Taylor for looking out for young students.
