1) Annual Flower Show

The most awaited floral exhibition of Karachi is finally here! If you love gardening, plants and everything associated with it, you should invest time at this 3-day exhibit. Showcasing an array of floral arrangements, a variety of plants and gardening accessories available for purchase, all in one space.

2) Twins Apart

You might have seen a couple of English musicals, but this truly inspirational yet entertaining musical is in Urdu. Directed by Shah Sharahbeel, the musical is based on the original musical by Willy Russell named Blood Brothers.

3) Beat Coast ’19

Travel through the Makran coast and explore the pristine beaches of Balochistan as you embark on this two-day trip. Nothing says meditation more than a drum circle at a beach with a bonfire. Unwind in the most relaxing way and visit Buji-Koh, Sapat Bandar in Hingol National Park, Pasni, Kund Malir and witness the beauty of Balochistan like never before.

Whether you’re a frequent flier or someone who has travelled once, the story should only be worth a listen. Register to either narrate or perform your travel story in the time frame of 6 minutes.

This contemporary dance routine — performed around 80 times in 8 years — has arrived in the Asian continent. The spell started from India and will end in Karachi. Watch five talented dancers create magic as they take centre stage.

3) 1 x 1

Exhibiting 106 exceptional artworks by 53 contemporary artists on a canvas sized 1×1 foot, this one of a kind exhibition is the haven for all art lovers and aspiring artists. While 53 artists will be exhibiting in Islamabad, the remaining 53 will showcase their work in Karachi. Be sure to attend!

1) Ludo with Latté

After garnering appreciation from various parts of the world and its world premiere at the 71st Locarno Festival, the psychological thriller directed by Hamza Bangash is getting its Karachi premiere as part of British Council’s film club. Exploring the grim reality of mental illnesses, Dia explores the life of a young woman who struggles with a mental disorder and how her life goes in a downward spiral. The screening will be followed by a Q/A session with the cast and filmmaker.
