Keeping its tradition of fusing classy and chic designs by bringing traditional techniques into play, Khaadi has yet again launched a winter collection ‘18 which doesn’t just look pleasing to the eye but is also an ode to timeless fashion staples.

Khaadi takes old-world charm and gives it a neo traditional spin with their three-piece printed and embroidered range, experimenting with a multitude of fabrics like jaquard, cambric, classic khaddar, warm linen and marina. The pieces are paired with elegant chiffon dupattas and embroidered shawls, catering to the variable temperatures in the country. Providing an array of sartorial options, Khaadi has divided the collection by fabric, design and prints. Here’s what we loved about the elaborate winter batch.

The ‘Under the Banyan Tree’ range displays a vintage homey vibe with yarn dyed dupattas over jacquard shirts in deep rich hues. We specially love this tangerine and hot pink A-line frock comprising self printed motifs and chevron print. The tartan dupatta is a sure shot head turner when paired with a bright floral shirt.

‘Memoirs from a Kashmiri Winter’ features designs that are a perfect combination of traditional wear with a modern edge. Crafted with intricate embroidery over khaddar shirts, the timeless outfits are complemented with embroidered shawls to add a touch of warm elegance. Two of these classy designs caught our attention immediately; while the monochrome shirt is creatively complemented with cobalt blue tassels and a hint of red to add that oomph factor, the sky blue number personifies serenity and grace.

With ‘Warm Inspirations,’ Khaadi has subtly won over the style game with elegant linen dresses. It has prints inspired by Spanish patterns merged with Patola stripes and motifs over a soft colour palette.

Don’t forget to check out their ‘Winter on a Marina’ collection, which has exquisite Iranian patterns splashed over marina fabric. This one-of-its-kind design template in breathtaking hues is to watch out for and will surely sell out within no time.

A special mention to their ensembles which fuse bold Moroccan elements with Macedonian motifs laced with Gara and Baroque styles. The pieces show femininity in its truest spirit. ‘Snowflakes in a Japanese Garden’ interlaces the region’s art deco flowers and geometric patterns over pastel shades. Heavy floral prints on muted cambric look ethereal and contemporary.

Whether you fancy old-school solids, pleasant florals, abstract patterns or intricate thread work, Khaadi’s refined winter line offers something for every penchant.
