“We’re shooting the Karachi spell and it’s Mawra, Umair Rana, Hira Mani, Madeeha Rizvi and I, on the sets,” Ahsan revealed in a chat with Something Haute, adding that they’re currently shooting the main portions of the play.

Curious to know when Aangan will hit our television screens, we asked him the same question we earlier asked his co-star, Mawra.

“I think the current spell is going to be the last one,” Ahsan replied.

Talking about his character and chemistry with his female co-stars, Ahsan explained that there’s a different twist to every character.

“Basically the whole story revolves around the characters played by Mawra, Ahad, Sajal, Sonya, Hiraa and me. It’s a very well-knitted story and we are all connected to each other in a certain way which is very different. There are love angles also but you should expect much more than just a love story.”

Aangan is based on a novel of the same name written by Khadija Mastoor. It is set in the 1940s and is being directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin.
