Celebrity

Let’s all just confess – we’re Instagram addicts and checking out what our favourite celebrity is up to has turned into a norm. From where they traveled this week to what they wore and which new projects they’ve signed, this portal gives us all the updates and we’re not complaining!

So what exactly caught our attention this week? We have the lowdown…

When Mahira Khan sent a shoutout to team Verna

“Can’t believe it’s been a year.. this film will hold a very special place in my life. Always. All hail Shoaib Mansoor,” wrote Mahira Khan. Verna is a must watch, and as for Mahira, she’s worked out of her comfort zone to deliver the grittiest performance of her career.

When Adnan Siddiqui played Mahira Khan’s father

The actor stated that he always wondered how he would look when I grew old and after this role, he thinks he’ll resemble his dad.”A lot of you might wonder, why I chose to play this character…as an actor I like to play roles that are versatile and challenging,” he explained why he agreed to play an old father.

Some special bonds cannot be expressed in words but only felt, like the bond between a father and a daughter. A lot of you might wonder, why I chose to play this character…as an actor I like to play roles that are versatile and challenging. And as a father to 2 daughters I could totally relate to this TVC. I hope you guys continue to shower me with your love in my future innings also. On a lighter note, I always wondered how I would look when I grow old? Well, after watching the ad I guess I don’t have to worry about the salt n’ pepper hair going all white- as I think I’ll resemble MY papa jaani. 😊 Thank you @mastermoltyfoam @theshezymalik @asaduhaq and @mahirahkhan . . . . . #specialbond #father #daughter #advertisement #MasterMoltyFoam #BondsThatLastForever #YehRishtayZindagiBharKayLiye #NaniPari2018 #mattress #PapaJaani #adnansiddiqui #actor #mahirakhan #instavideo #love #life #wedding #newrole #instadaily #instalife #saturday #funday #memories #childhood #emotional #sherwani #flowers #daughters #lovethem #priceless

When Ahsan Khan shared the 3rd teaser of Aangan

The third teaser of the much-anticipated drama, Aangan, is out featuring Sonya Hussyn and Ahsan Khan. Amidst a period setting, the two actors are seen bounded by a deep connection and fans are loving it. While we have seen Ahsan in a pre-partition setting before in drama serial Dastaan, Sonya has never been seen before in such an avatar.

Aangan is based on Khadija Mastoor's seminal novel of the same title and deals with the affect of political turmoil, patriarchal mores, social retrogression, and cultural conservatism on the lives of women with intelligence, nuance and sensitivity. I believe that this will be one of the most successful Pakistani drama serials of all time and be remembered for years, if not decades. IMustafa Afridi has adapted the novel with great skill and Mohammed Ehteshamuddin has, of course, done a masterful job as a director. The serial also features some truly powerful performances. do not believe that greater attention has ever been paid to costume design and art direction in any other Pakistani television serial. Aangan is a veritable celebration of the strength, grit and resilience of women who keep the world going. I am glad and grateful to be a part of the drama serial. #pakistan#drama#tv#film#aangan#humtv #novel #period #play
