The year 2019 is going to be a game changer for one of the top most actresses of Pakistani film industry, Meera Jee, as the star has two big releases on her plate, Baaji and Parey Hut Love (PHL). While the actress is playing the lead in Saqib Malik directorial debut Baaji, Asim Raza’s PHL features Meera in an interesting cameo role.

In an exclusive conversation with Something Haute, Meera talks about her comeback on the big screen and her experience of working with the actors of the current generation.

“Irrespective of how much experience you have or whether you’re working with seniors or juniors, every day is a new learning experience. You have to work hard each day on your character and script to deliver a better performance,” Meera said adding, “I particularly enjoyed working with Ali Kazmi in Baaji. He is a talented actor who takes his craft very seriously.”

“While we were shooting for Baaji, I always felt that I am living that life. It was the story of Rameez and Shameera for me [character names of Ali and Meera]. However, I will rate my chemistry with all three heroes – Sheheryar Munawar, Ali Kazmi and Osman Khalid Butt— 100 on 100,” Meera added.
