Amongst a plethora of artists in the country, there are very few who stand out equally for their skills and their charms and Ali Zafar tops that list. Whether it’s his continuous stride in his films and music, or his immense support for his loved ones, the singer gives us true goals of how a superstar should be. However, if you’re still not satisfied with all that he does, then get ready for this year’s Coke Studio, where you’ll see him side by side his brother –and almost doppelgänger – Danyal Zafar.

Speaking exclusively to Something Haute about how proud he feels about his brother’s debut on the coveted platform, Ali told us,

“I feel proud of Danyal, not only for his immense talent but his golden heart. The humility and respect he carries on his shoulders. There is so much to him that I have seen but the world is yet to explore.”

Danyal, who’s all set to make his debut with not one, but two songs this season, will be seen playing the guitar in ‘Julie’ with Ali’s vocals, while the second song will be a duet with last year’s biggest breakout star, Momina Mustehsan.

Talking about letting the audience judge for themselves, Ali added,

“As an elder brother who has seen him grow, I naturally have much more to say but I leave it to the audience’s fair judgment to feel what they want to about him once he’s out in the limelight because that’s what I had told him. That his struggle in the world will have to be his own. Because that is what makes a man.”

With Coke Studio a few weeks away, we will be waiting to see whether Danyal can create the same magic as ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Ae Dil’ did for Ali in the previous seasons. However, if talent is in the genes, we have a lot to look forward to.
