Earlier this week, we reported that stylist Soomar Rehman has sent a legal notice to the producers of Parwaaz Hai Junoon for not giving him credit. It has now come to our knowledge that M&D Productions has been notified by the court to not release any more of the film’s promotional content without his name until the next hearing which is on Monday.

“The court has passed an order and stated that the production house is not allowed to release any upcoming teasers, trailers, posters or songs without mentioning my name, at least until the next hearing,” Soomar told The Express Tribune.

The stylist also said that he was expecting an apology from the producers. “I want M&D productions to tender an unconditional written apology. Apart from that, I would like to receive my due credit in the film. M&D Productions has a record of misusing youngsters’ talent.”

Well, since this Parwaaz has been thwarted, we are left wondering if the movie’s release will be affected by the court case. Although we really do hope that it’s not.

Stay tuned for more updates.
