Following the success of Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2, makers of Wrong No. have also announced a sequel. The movie, which was a commercial success, featured Danish Taimoor and Sohai Ali Abro in lead roles. However, they have been replaced by Sami Khan and Neelum Muneer in the sequel.

“The first thing that made me sign the film is the director, Yasir Nawaz. He is a well-known name in direction and acting both,” Sami told Something Haute, confirming that he will be playing the lead in Wrong No.2.

“I recently worked with him in drama serial Khudgarz and he made me do a very different and challenging role which I hadn’t done before,” he added stating that he’s excited as this time Yasir wants him to do a bit of comedy and romance.

Speaking of the team, the popular star said, “It’s a good team that has given hit films before so it’s always nice to work with them and try to entertain the audience.”

Sami also added that Neelam is a very good actor and he’s very excited to work with her. “Her recent play Dil Moum Ka Diya is a hit and she played the character very well.”

Neelam also praised Sami and said that they have great onscreen chemistry. “I’ve worked with Sami before and I’m really looking forward to this project.”

“We have to deal with the pressure that comes with the expectations. The prequel was a hit, but we’ve really worked hard on the script and hope the film will be received well by the audience,” she added.

Produced under the banner of YNH Films, Wrong No.2 will be produced by Hassan Zia and co-produced by Yasir Nawaz and Nida Yasir. The shooting of the film will begin later this year and it is expected to release in 2019, most likely two weeks after Eidul Fitr.
