Just when you thought that we forgot about all of you and have gone tame, we’re here to remind you that we never miss out on judgment when it’s needed. And honey, last night was surely judgment day that we’re not letting go off that easily! We know you’ve missed us and our righteous fashion judgment, hence we’re back!

The grand finale of Miss Veet Pakistan 2017 took place at the Karachi Expo Centre last night, and amongst lots of pink and red lights, we managed to spot our stars and their disastrous red carpet choices!

Aamina Sheikh

We could get behind the colour, if it wasn’t blending in with the background, but this feels like a basic bland dress that got mutated into this hideosity because someone had one too many ideas and forgot to edit them. There are those unnecessary cutouts, the overly tight jacket silhouette, the overgrown fringe (considering it’s VEET, the pun is intended) and wilted volume of the skirt, all for no good reason. Aamina Sheikh has inbuilt style; we wish she’d trust herself and channel it.

Adnan Malik

We’ll give him brownie – or should we say Cake points for trying.

Miss Veet finalists

No, oh no…everything from the colour to the silhouette to the finish was wrong about these ‘gowns’ that the finalists were given to wear.

That neckpiece stole the spotlight more than any Miss Veet finalist!

Nadia Hussain

After a successful career in modeling, Nadia Hussain is now the goodwill ambassador for CPEC it seems.

Mahira Khan

J’adore J’adore J’adore! Can Mahira Khan please start giving our starlets some fashion advice?

Aiman Khan

It may seem like Aiman is being attacked by alien fish spiders but this honestly wasn’t the worst look of the night.

Hira Hussain

A dress that aspires to grow up to be a Shehla Chatoor creation? Okay…

Wasim Akram

The King of Swing obviously (and thankfully) keeps it safe in his wardrobe choices…

Aamna Ilyas

Not only does she look great, the outfit has been accessorised perfectly.
