When the government grants you a favour, you accept it with open arms! An initiative has been taken by the Federal Government of Pakistan to safeguard the local film industry by imposing a limited restriction on the screening of all Indian films during the period of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha. Therefore,  Na Band Na Baraati — which was earlier scheduled to be released on July 6, 2018 — has now moved its release date to Eidul Fitr 2018.

“Since Indian movies will now be releasing around the date of our earlier release plan, it also makes more sense to take advantage of the government’s decision and release Na Band Na Baraati this Eid, keeping in mind its genre and to make the most of the government’s decision,” producer Zain Farooqi said.

Na Band Na Baraati is a family (comedy) film directed by Mahmood Akhtar and produced by Farooqi under the banner of Zaskhko Entertainment. Harish Kumar Patel has penned the script while the cast includes Mikaal Zulfiqar, Qavi Khan, Atiqa Odho, Azra Mohyeddin, Shayan Khan, Nayab Khan, Mahmood Akhtar, Komal Farooqi, Ali Kazmi among others.

“I wish all the films success,” said Mikaal Zulfiqar when we asked him which Eidul Fitr film he thinks will do better at the box office. “Making a film is like moving a mountain. And efforts like that should be fruitful for all. I think Na Band Na Baraati will do well against these films,” he added.

Na Band Na Baraati will be clashing with Wajood, 7 Din Mohabbat In and Azaadi this Eid.
