It’s another great week with a gargantuan collection at the box office, and there are three films to thank for that. Any guesses?

According to independent box office websites and sources, the trio between Ali Zafar’s Teefa in Trouble, Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Fallout, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju have managed to become the combination that was needed to keep the cinemas afloat until Eid-Ul-Azha.

While the Pakistani blockbuster has managed to garner PKR 4.73 Crore this week, it has rocketed its overall domestic collection to PKR 25 Crore in just 20 days. On the other hand, Sanju – despite being in its sixth week – has raked around PKR 25 Lakh this week, taking its grand total to a little over PKR 37.25 Crore.

In total, the collections by just these two films have managed to keep the box office afloat during the last month as the numbers earned through them are comparable to year-long earnings, otherwise. However, it seems that this year has been a gift that keeps on giving, and the collections of MI: Fallout too, have contributed massively.

If numbers are to be believed, the Tom Cruise starrer has collected a little over PKR 3.5 Crore in its second week, taking its collection to PKR 12 Crore.

Things may see a change soon, however, as the festive season draws closer. In the coming weeks, three Pakistani films – Load Wedding, Parwaaz Hai Junoon, and Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2 – are all set to release. Will that add on the collection spree? We’ll just to have to wait and see!
