Fahad Mustafa stars in two of the biggest releases this year and has been receiving immense love and appreciation for Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2 and Load Wedding, both. It won’t be wrong to say that Fahad has been pretty much the highlight of Eid ul Azha.

Recently in an interview with Haroon Rashid on BBC Asian Network, the Jeeto Pakistan star shared his experience as an actor working for two very diverse roles for two movies. Speaking of his films releasing on the same day, Fahad said, “Since the past four years, producers have been releasing their films on Eid because it’s the time of the year when the masses of the country come to the cinema.”

He also joked that he feels like the Salman Khan of Pakistan. “I have often had films releasing on Eid as well and I don’t know if I should say this but I feel like the Salman Khan of Pakistan.”

The statement was met with a lot of reaction on social media and guess what? Osman Khalid Butt too had something to say regarding the comparison.

“To me, Fahad Mustafa is more Akshay Kumar (given his foray into socially conscious satire) than Salman,” tweeted OKB, along with praises for Load Wedding.

When criticised for drawing comparisons with Bollywood celebrities by a few followers, OKB made a clarification regarding his statement too. “He made the comparison himself. I just went with it.”

The Balu Mahi actor also added sarcasm when he was termed ‘jealous’ of Fahad Mustafa.
