After garnering modest appreciation following its release last year, Pinky Memsaab is now being screened at different film festivals making a name for Pakistan. The film had its premiere in Dallas, United States last month and now it is all set to screen at the upcoming 21st UK Asian Film Festival.

The festival is scheduled to take place from March 27 to April 7, 2019 and Pinky Memsaab will be showcased at the closing night of the festival on April 6 in London.

Directed and written by debutant Shazia Ali Khan,the Indie Pakistani film Pinky Memsaab portrays the lives of a gullible maid, Pinky (Hajra Yamin); a beautiful socialite, Mehr (Kiran Malik); an ambitious investment banker, Hassan (Adnan Jaffar); and a happy-go-lucky chauffeur, Santosh (Sunny Hinduja). It further divulges into how their stories are entwined in Dubai.

The UK Asian Film Festival, previously known as The London Asian Film Festival, has been celebrating and rewarding great films, filmmakers and artists from South Asia for over 19 years. The film festival offers an eclectic mix of films, stimulating interviews, workshops, outstanding master classes and an annual short film competition.
