Pakistani actor Ahad Raza Mir is all set to appear alongside Oscar award-winning British actor Colin Firth, supermodel and activist Gisele Bundchen, legendary musician Nile Rodgers and musician, political activist and philanthropist Annie Lennox in the first edition of the Renaissance Awards.

The Renaissance Awards will empower young leaders all over the world and take place on October 18. Unlike typical awards shows, the inaugural Renaissance Awards are taking on a cinematic format, with a film presentation produced by Pulse Films Italia and directed by Grammy-nominated Giorgio Testi.

The ceremony is taking the form of a movie, filmed inside the Palazzo Vecchio and includes celebrity appearances from several stars.

The Yaqeen Ka Safar actor, Ahad Raza Mir also shared the trailer on social media. “Powering a Brighter Future,” he wrote.

According to a press release, the film will show for the first time in history the iconic Renaissance art animated with the use of augmented reality and it will also be the first time ever that the actual award given to the young leaders will be in the form of an NFT.

“The Renaissance Awards is the first global awards dedicated to the work of international young leaders who are working for a more environmentally regenerative, socially just, economically inclusive and technologically balanced future,” states the official description on the website.

This award show will be aired on SKY TV UK on 25th October along with other leading networks and platforms globally including the Middle East.

Ahad is a great actor and a true blessing for the industry. Despite being the son of famous Pakistani actor Asif Raza Mir, he’s made a place for himself through sheer hard work and dedication which is often reflected in his work.

His performances in dramas such as Ehd-e-Wafa and Yeh Dil Mera among others have won great appreciation. He even won the Betty Mitchell Award for his performance in a theatre play which proves he’s not only a star in Pakistan but wherever he displays his skills.

Apart from him making an appearance in the first edition of the Renaissance Awards, he has also finished filming for an upcoming Hollywood project.
