It is no news that every famous celebrity has a number of fan accounts on social media that post updates about them more efficiently than the originals. However, these accounts, sometimes, jeopardize a star’s hard work and stardom when they clearly start imitating the original account.

A celebrity who is facing the same problem right now is Ayeza Khan, who took to social media, and requested her fans to follow her official Twitter account and report the fake one. It is becoming a problem because the fake account has a similar handle to her Instagram account, it has over 250,000 followers and a Verified badge (blue tick). This results in so much confusion that many celebs and fans consider it her actual account.

“Please report this account on Twitter,” the actor wrote.

She is not the first actor who has notified her fans of a fake social media account. Imran Ashraf also has a number of fan Twitter accounts in his name which resulted in a lot of confusion when a fan search for him to follow on Twitter.  Imran also uploaded a video to confirm which account really belonged to him. He requested his followers to beware of fake accounts.
