Actor Feroze Khan has been vocal about his religious and spiritual journey. He first decided to quit his acting career to follow a religious path, however, later he shared that his Sheikh has asked him not to quit.

“My Sheikh ordered me not to quit showbiz,” the Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 actor said in an interview with Something Haute. He further explained how his mentor believed the industry was a medium to spread the ‘paighaam’ of religion.

Social media as well as several publications were quick to ‘joke’ about his personal confessions.

Feroze recently made an appearance on Tabish Hashmi’s talk show and displayed his displeasure when the host joked about making the actor his Sheikh. He firmly called out Tabish for taking a jibe at his spiritual journey.

“We will not joke about this at all, I’m sensitive about it,” he said, pointing his finger at the host.

Feroze asserted that “Yeh bhi Sheikh ne bola, wo bhi Sheikh ne bola (Sheikh said this, Sheikh said that…)” is not a joke. He went on to clarify that it is a personal matter and he feels he was stupid to even share it publicly.
