Following a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic, films all over the world are finally screening in cinemas this year. So, it is crucial for the industry to stick together and support each other. And this was evident at the trailer launch of Adnan Siddiqui’s debut production, Dum Mastam, starring Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan.

It was a star-studded affair on Thursday night as several celebrities from the industry showed up to support the team of Dum Mastam, especially those who have their films scheduled to release this year.

Let’s have a look at the stars who graced the trailer launch of Dum Mastam:

Amar Khan looked stunning in a red sari by Mohsin Naveed Ranjha as she posed with director Ehteshamuddin and the hero of her film, Imran Ashraf.

 

 

Producer Adnan Siddiqui showed up looking smart in an all-black outfit. He dressed up in a black kurta pyjama and waist coat with a neatly placed pocket square.

 

There is a very old and famous saying, “behind every successful man, there stands a woman”! Imran posed with his wife for a beautiful picture.

Superstar Humayun Saeed was also there to support his colleagues and the industry.

Ishrat Made in China’s lead actors Mohib Mirza and Sanam Saeed were spotted together.

Urwa Hocane, who will be once again sharing the screen with Imran Ashraf in her upcoming drama, was also present. She was dressed in an off-white ensemble.

Bilal Maqsood, who has previously worked with Adnan for his music videos, also made an appearance to wish luck and love.

Sonya Hussyn, who has several upcoming projects lined up was there to support the entertainment industry. We spot a mask and we like it!

Ushna Shah posed with Bilal Ashraf, who has starred in Mohammed Ehteshammuddin’s previous film, Superstar.

Film director Wajahat Rauf and his wife Shazia Wajahat were there along with Nadeem Baig, Nina Kashif, Abdullah Kadwani and several others.

Sanam Jung was the host for the evening.

The trailer filled with colorful imagery, romance, drama, energetic dance numbers and Punjabi humour lived up to our expectations as it has all the ingredients that are anticipated from a romantic comedy based in Punjab.

Amar Khan has not only played the female lead in the film but has also written the script of this romantic comedy. It has been directed by Mohammed Ehteshammuddin. The film also features Kiran Malik, Momin Saqib, Saleem Mairaj, Arslan Naseer, Saife Hasan, Uzma Beg, Agha Mustafa Hassan, Sohail Ahmed, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Adnan Shah Tipu, Faiza Gillani, and many more. Nigah jee is the choreographer for the musical film.

Produced by Adnan Siddiqui and Akhtar Hasnain for Cereal Entertainment, and distributed by HUM Films, Dum Mastam will release on Eid ul Fitr 2022.
