The cinema industry came to a halt due to coronavirus pandemic, forcing production houses and filmmakers to hold back their potential blockbusters. Now, despite the challenges and uncertainty about the future, the movie business all around the world is prepared to move forward with plans to bring people back to the cinemas.

Cinemas across Pakistan finally reopened last week. Not only was the news exciting for movie lovers, directors and producers also shared their excitement to finally release their films.

Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza’s Khel Khel Mein starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Sajal Aly is going to be the first local film to release since the pandemic.

“Thank you to all our fans for being so patient! Filmwala Pictures is excited to announce the first Pakistani film to be released post covid-19 and upon the opening of cinemas nationwide,” read the official statement along with the poster.

Khel Khel Mein has been produced by Fizza Ali Meerza under the banner of Filmwala Pictures while Nabeel Qureshi has directed it. “We are thrilled to be releasing “KHEL KHEL MEIN” this November. The anticipated wait will be well worth it! See you all at your nearest theatre!”

“Watch how love overcomes power and how creative ideas by the youth have the power to change minds. Get ready to watch your favorite actors, Sajal Ali and Bilal Abbas, on the big screen,” the announcement further stated.

The poster for the film features lead stars Sajal and Bilal along with several new faces. Judging from the group of people in the picture, the storyline probably revolves around youngsters.

Khel Khel Mein will release in the cinemas on November 19.
