Zaheer Abbas’ bridals made a debut at the first PLBW last year while Nabila opened the show with a Gold to Bold concept. One expects something conceptual to happen this year too.

As expected, the Pakistan Fashion Design Council has proven that they are sorted and well organized. They have already sent details of the upcoming PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week, announcing that the event will be held in Lahore between October 3 to 6, 2012. The final lineup of designers has not yet been revealed but the orientation letter from official publicist Lotus promises that it will come by the end of the week. Fantastic.

It’s no secret that PFDC will be opening Pakistan’s first official multi-label boutique in Delhi (on October 19) and around twenty designers are waiting for Indian visas as we speak. Whether they become part of the entourage or not, we know that the store will be a huge feather in the council’s cap. The store will open with a show conceptualized by style guru Nabila so all I can see is a whole lot of Pakistani fashion to impress the Indians with. It’s all good.

And what’s better is that this store opening hasn’t thrown fashion week off schedule.

The PR announces that, like last year, four makeup artists/stylists will be assigned a day each: Nabila, Khawar Riaz, Toni&Guy and Maram Aabroo. A little analysis on these tomorrow…
