ARY Digital’s upcoming drama serial Kuch Ankahi is a fresh offering as its teasers teleport you to a chaotic household, home to three sisters with contrasting personalities who are bonded by blood and love for each other. All hell breaks loose in this household when Bilal Khan’s character moves as a lodger on rent with his mother.
Kuch Ankahi follows the life of three sisters. Sajal Aly is essaying the role of middle child of the family and is also the bread winner. She has a feisty personality and is a go-getter. Sajal looks stunning as always. Her bangs and eastern attire complements her new look, adding a personal touch to the character. While the character Bilal is playing is still under wraps but his bickering with Sajal looks sweet and promising. Sajal and Bilal have once again dazzled the fans with their on-screen chemistry.

The drama promises a light hearted family comedy with banter, hints of sarcasm and theatrics. It navigates around the lives of three sisters as they find a place for themselves in the world. We are also anticipating a love story between Sajal and Bilal’s character as they both indulge in never-ending arguments. The teasers have managed to keep us hooked as we wait to see how the stories of each character intertwine.

Sajal Aly and Mira Sethi were all praises for each other as they both shared the same picture on Instagram. Mira describes the spirit of this TV drama as “Haseena Moin meets Anwar Maqsood meets Muhammad Ahmed.” And rightfully describes as the drama evokes a sense of nostalgia that reminds us of old-school Pakistani dramas.
Sajal Aly also penned down a sweet note addressing Mira, “uffff My Mira. You’re my girl crush! You are shinning in this project & you’ve made me cry with your performance!”

The drama stars Bilal Abbas Khan, Sajal Aly, Sheheryar Munawar, Annie Zaidi, Vaneeza Ahmad, Asma Abbas, Mira Sethi, Babar Ali, Irsa Ghazal, Ali Safina, Qudsia Ali, Adnan Samad Khan, and Mohammad Ahmed. This is the third project Bilal Abbas and Sajal Aly are working together on after O Rangreza and Khel Khel Mein.
The drama is helmed by Nadeem Baig and has been penned by Syed Mohammad Ahmed, who is also playing the role of Sajal Aly’s father in the drama. Co-produced by Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Naseeb under banner of Six Sigma Plus and Kashf Foundation, the drama is reportedly all set to air on ARY Digital on January 15.
