Yasir Nawaz released the first teaser of his upcoming flick Wrong No. 2 on Friday, which is a sequel to his 2015 comedy film Wrong No. The film starring Sami Khan and Neelam Muneer in lead roles appears to be a riot of comedy but the incoherent scenes in the teaser fail to make any impact.

Neelam and Sami appear in few haphazard romantic shots (with no dialogues) during the 1 minute 30 seconds teaser. However, we appreciate how Neelam was seen fluently speaking Pashto in a scene which doesn’t sounds like a garish imitation.

What confuses viewer is that the teaser shows erratic scenes where Javaid Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam and several other characters take more screen space than the lead actors. We also spotted Yashma Gill in a dance number. The soundtrack played in the background is a fast tune with a contemporary rap which is becoming quite a trend after Gully Boy.

Speaking to Something Haute in an earlier interview, Neelam said: “I’ve worked with Sami before and I’m really looking forward to this project. We have to deal with the pressure that comes with the expectations. The prequel was a hit, but we’ve really worked hard on the script and hope the film will be received well by the audience.”

Wrong No.2 is slated to release on Eid ul Fitr 2019 alongside The Legends of Maula Jatt and Chhalawa.
