The currently untitled project (referred to as ABG by the lead actor) stars Emmad Irfani and Maya Ali. Emmad commented on his post and praised him.

“When legends work together!!” Emmad commented.

Everyone has high hopes for a film, written and directed by Shoaib Mansoor as well as his music compositions and the OST of the upcoming movie. For those who don’t know, Mansoor was the producer of the nation’s most beloved anthem Dil Dil Pakistan sung by Vital Signs.

In an earlier conversation with Something Haute, Emmad expressed his delight to work with the legendary director.

“[It is an honor] well… to be a part of the next piece of puzzle by the maestro, Khuda Kay Liye, Bol, Verna and ABG. Not only is he [Shoaib Mansoor] colossal in his field but also a great human being. Just being in his presence is highly inspiring and I look forward to be working under his captaincy.”

Yes, ABG is perhaps an acronym for the title of the project and Emmad doesn’t want to reveal it right now. ABG will also mark Mansoor’s return to the director’s seat after a break of almost five years – his last film was the Mahira Khan starrer Verna, which released in November 2017.
