Insta roundup: 5 announcements that had everyone excited last week

With each passing week, the Pakistani entertainment industry seems to be becoming a force to be reckoned with. From phenomenal thriller television drama Cheekh to the first romantic comedy web-series of the country, the maestros seems to be unstoppable and we are not complaining – and naturally, the space to announce it all remains Instagram.

Here are the top moments of the week that got us looking forward to these projects:

1) Wajahat Rauf announced his third film

After his successful franchise Karachi Se Lahore, director Wajahat Rauf ventured into the digital avenue of web-series. While the rumour mill was churning that KSL3 might never see the light of the day, the director himself shared a shot from his next project, calling it his ‘third film’. It will star Mehwish Hayat and Zara Noor Abbas, but we are expecting a full cast announcement soon.

Currently on a cruise somewhere near Thailand, celebrating ARY President, Salman Iqbal’s 25th wedding anniversary, Humayun Saeed shared a picture hinting at the ‘script writing’ process and got everyone guessing.
